The confusing study of the Porto overprints issued by over 105 municipalities during the years 1919 through 1926 is thoroughly documented in this very well cross-indexed 47 page work. Nothing meaningful that is easy to use has been published to date and the documentation in the old Polish catalogues is difficult for the collector to ascertain as to what it is that he has.

This work is very well cross referenced and it is very easy to identify the various over prints and which stamps were overprint in which municipalities.

This work also breaks new ground by including information on manuscript provisionals, fantasy issues, forgeries and several previously unlisted varieties.
